FAQ's

How accurate are at-home tests?

At-home tests that use laboratory-based NAAT or PCR testing are highly accurate and comparable to clinic testing when samples are collected correctly. Our lab prides ourselves on advanced technology and accurate testing procedures. Awarded one of the most accurate labs in 2024 we continue to strive for the most accurate results for our customers.

What is NAAT testing?

NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Testing) detects the genetic material of an infection and is considered the gold standard for early detection and multi-pathogen testing.

What is first-void urine and why is it used?

First-void urine is the initial part of the urine stream and contains the highest concentration of infectious organisms, making it more accurate than standard urine samples.

How long does it take to get results?

Currently, we average a little less than 58 hours until you get your results back.  This includes weekends, and delays if your sample returns as positive or if the results do not adhere to our strict quality control guidelines.  In those cases, we rerun the test from scratch to ensure accuracy.
