Screen for three of the most common sexually transmitted infections from the privacy of home. This kit tests for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Mycoplasma genitalium using NAAT (nucleic acid amplification testing) - the same molecular method used in clinical settings.

Pathogens screened:

  • Chlamydia trachomatis
  • Neisseria gonorrhoeae
  • Mycoplasma genitalium

Sample type: First-void urine

What's included: Free 2-business day shipping · First void urine collection tube · First void urine collection funnel · Pre-paid 2-business day return shipping envelope · Clinician-authorized test order · Specimen collection bag with absorbent pad · Secure online results 1-3 business days after sample receipt

How it works:

  1. Purchase your kit
  2. Register online - a licensed clinician reviews and authorizes your order
  3. Collect your first void urine sample following the included instructions
  4. Ship your sample in the pre-paid mailer
  5. Receive your results securely online

About your results timeline: Sample check in occurs late afternoon or evening of the date of delivery, turnaround time after specimen accession is most often less than one day (~18 hours), but if a re-run must occur and the specimen arrives on Friday, average turnaround time is raised to approximately 62 hours due to the complexity of HPV genotyping across 7 individual assays. The most common reason a sample fails to arrive at our facility is that we primarily use UPS, so please make sure to drop it off at a UPS pickup location, and not at the local post office unless otherwise indicated!

FAQ's

How accurate are at-home tests?

At-home tests that use laboratory-based NAAT or PCR testing are highly accurate and comparable to clinic testing when samples are collected correctly. Our lab prides ourselves on advanced technology and accurate testing procedures. Awarded one of the most accurate labs in 2024 we continue to strive for the most accurate results for our customers.

What is NAAT testing?

NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Testing) detects the genetic material of an infection and is considered the gold standard for early detection and multi-pathogen testing.

What is first-void urine and why is it used?

First-void urine is the initial part of the urine stream and contains the highest concentration of infectious organisms, making it more accurate than standard urine samples.

How long does it take to get results?

Currently, we average a little less than 58 hours until you get your results back.  This includes weekends, and delays if your sample returns as positive or if the results do not adhere to our strict quality control guidelines.  In those cases, we rerun the test from scratch to ensure accuracy.
